We're thrilled to announce that MedMe Health is backed by Y Combinator.‍

Twice a year, the Silicon Valley-based firm funds and works intensively with companies for three months.

As members of the Winter 2021 Batch, the program has been fully remote. And yet, the past three months have been the experience of a lifetime. We are so grateful for the incredible network, immediate access to world-class mentorship, and invaluable support that will endure throughout the life of our company.

When we started MedMe Health, we saw an urgent need to empower pharmacists with the technology to practice to the fullest extent of their clinical scope. With technology commoditizing dispensing even further, we were determined to challenge the status quo of pharmacy software; to go beyond dispensing and enable pharmacists to focus on what makes them indispensable, caring for their patients.

Since beginning YC we’ve scaled the MedMe platform to over 1100 pharmacies across Canada, serving more than 750K unique patients through the platform and facilitating vaccinations, testing, medication reviews, and virtual consults. Notably, we are privileged to be supporting the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in pharmacies across all 10 provinces.

Nevertheless, we’ve just scratched the surface - to be backed alongside the incredible category-defining companies at YC to realize this vision is just the beginning; as YC W21 comes to a close we are so excited to usher in a new phase at MedMe; one that brings us closer to changing the status quo.
